There are many add-on apps which can be connected to Xero. One of these you may have heard about is “Receipt Bank”. This add-on allows you to use a mobile phone app to snap photos of your little daily expense receipts like petrol, stationery, or office supplies for direct upload to Xero. Great for clients who don’t like paperwork. Great for accountants because there is no more chasing for missing paperwork or dockets! And of course it’s ATO compliant. Receipt bank also has some automation features for regular recurring invoices like subscriptions or phone plan invoices. These can be uploaded or emailed to Receipt Bank, and automatically coded and entered into your Xero books with minimal operator involvement.
