Just a reminder that we are at the end of the September quarter BAS. We would appreciate if you could collate and send your data / update your files by the end of October to enable us to schedule the work before the final lodgment / payment deadline, which is 25th November.
EMPLOYERS / SUPERANNUATION
Note that quarterly staff super is due for payment by 28th October. As you may be aware, from July 2016 you need to submit staff super electronically using a Super Stream compliant service, for example Clicksuper, or the Small Business Superannuation Clearing House. If you have not already actioned this, here is a link to explanations, links and videos which will assist you in understanding the new requirements:
We are currently working on 2016 taxation returns. Most taxation returns are not due for lodgment until May 2017 and we will be scheduling in all tax returns to be completed well before the deadline, commencing with individuals, sole traders, and then moving on to partnerships, trusts and companies. If you have a particular reason for your business tax return to be completed as a priority, please phone Yvonne to discuss the details. Otherwise you will be contacted for more information as we work through our schedule.
